On August 16, 2014 Sunscreen Mist protected over 400 people from the sun’s dangerous rays at the Woodward Dream Cruise in Birmingham, Michigan by misting attendees with their Broad Spectrum UVA/UVB SPF30. People were all smiles at the Sunscreen Mist tent as they received their mango-coconut Broad Spectrum UVA/UVB SPF 30 mist!
Sunscreen Mist offered event-attendees the choice of lotion to include Broad Spectrum UVA/UVB SPF30 & SPF 15 and SPF 30 & SPF 15 w/Insect Barrier Mist.
Sunscreen Mist protected Dream Cruise attendees free of charge (complimentary), while collecting donations for Kids Kicking Cancer who was on site with Sunscreen Mist. 100% of the proceeds were donated to Kids Kicking Cancer. The Kids performed a heart-felt live martial arts demonstration at the event. An admiring crowd quickly gathered as the Kids methodically demonstrated breathing and meditative techniques. These children are truly amazing.
The Woodward Dream Cruise is the world’s largest one-day automotive event, drawing over 40,000 classic cars each year from around the globe. North American cruisers from as far as California will caravan to Metro Detroit to participate in what has become, for many, an annual rite of summer. This event is an excellent opportunity to raise needed funds for a worthy cause such as Kids Kicking Cancer. Cruise attendees were made aware of the most common form of cancer in the USA, skin cancer. Sunscreen Mist was there to help.
The Kids Kicking Cancer foundation helps children with all types of sickness; they are taught by Black Belt Martial Artists how to manage the stress and pain of their treatments and disease. “Martial Arts can provide a useful modality to decrease pain in childhood cancer and other disease. Kids Kicking Cancer was also featured on Good Morning America. This innovative program uses the techniques of the Martial Arts to empower children with life threatening illnesses to heal physically, spiritually, and emotionally.
